We offer individual crew places and whole boat charters for Cowes Week.

Cowes Week is one of the largest yachting regattas in the world, it’s been running since 1826 and now attracts over 1000 yachts and up to 8000 racers from all over the world. Racing takes place on the Solent, which is a challenging stretch of water between the Isle of Wight and the ‘North Island’ as the locals call the mainland.

Global Yacht Racing offers racing in two divisions:

• IRC RACING DIVISION

or

• PERFORMANCE CRUISER DIVISION

We offer racing options both with and without spinnakers. Indeed the cruising classes are very popular with those individuals who are new to racing or those looking to take a calmer approach to racing.

Cowes Week is hosted under the Cowes Combined Clubs organisation which means that the event is run by all the yachts clubs here in Cowes which take it in turns to run the daily races. Running over 7 days, this regatta is full on with some fantastic après sail activities culminating in the famous Cowes Week Fireworks on the last Friday.
