Our 5-Day ‘Power & Shots’ course, combines our 2-Day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course with on-the-water photography workshops.

Join us to achieve not only your RYA Powerboat Level 2 but also to spend time on the water with photographic yachting legend Rick Tomlinson. Rick will guide you through the elements of achieving great photography on the water whilst shooting during a racing event here on The Solent. In addition we also offer the opportunity to improve your drone skills with a further workshop on handling and obtaining footage whilst out on the water from a moving vessel.

We can tailor the course to focus on this skills that you wish to develop. Should you wish to select just one element of the course such as the Powerboat or Photography course that can also be arranged.

Our courses are run out of Cowes Yacht Haven, on the Isle of Wight.
There are excellent transport links to Cowes and you can be out in the Solent in just 5 minutes from the yacht haven, no need to navigate Southampton water or Portsmouth Harbour before starting your training!

Our Race Skills course aims to cover (weather permitting):

• 2-Day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course
• 2-Day on-the-water Photographic Workshop with Rick Tomlinson to include coverage of a race event
