ROUND IRELAND RACE

About the Round Ireland Race campaign:

The Round Ireland Race is one of the most challenging events in the offshore racing calendar and is held every two years!

Global Yacht Racing are now looking ahead to the next race in 2024 and have yachts available for this epic round Ireland race challenge. We offer a full race package that ensures crew train together and have the minimum experience requirement of 500 nautical miles of RORC offshore racing, on the boat entered into the race. This results in our teams being not only ready to tackle this unique event but also able to be competitive in their class.

Why we love the Round Ireland Race

EH01's skipper Neil Maher says: 'It is probably my favourite offshore race. It has an incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the start and finish with an incredibly challenging course. The scenery is stunning with huge contrasts between the rugged west coast and a tamer east coast as well as the iconic Fastnet rock. Some of the wildlife that can be encountered is breathtaking including lots of sea birds and marine mammals.' Neil may be slightly biased as Ireland is his home turf & surf, but we agree with him! This is a real gem of offshore racing.
