About RORC Caribbean 600 event:

The Royal Ocean Racing Club’s Caribbean 600 is one of the bucket list offshore races! With offer whole boat charters and individual crew places. For those of you ‘collecting the set’ of 600nm offshore races it is amongst the greats; such as the Rolex Fastnet and RORC Middle Sea Race.

RORC Caribbean 600 is a 600 mile race around some of the best scenery that the Caribbean has to offer. Its challenging but it offers both novice and experienced sailors a great opportunity to race among professionals crews and some of the worlds top boats.

Our experienced race skippers will guide you through the course and along with our race training you will be part of a competitive team for this event. In previous races our yachts have always achieved very good results in their class. In 2023 ‘EH01’ and her race crew achieved 3rd in Class IRC 2 & in 2022 she achieved 2nd in Class.

 

New in 2023 RORC also added the Nelson’s Cup series ahead of the Caribbean 600 race. If you would like further information on combining this event with the RORC Caribbean 600 race then please do contact us. (*See dates below)

Where?

The RORC Caribbean 600 race starts and finishes in Antigua in the amazing eastern Caribbean. Travel to Antigua is easy by air from most major international airports and travel to and from Antigua Yacht club is cheap and easy by taxi. Training takes place in the azure waters outside of the historic English harbour dockyard in warm weather and perfect sailing conditions. Both before and after the race you will enjoy the hospitality and party atmosphere of Antigua with like minded sailors all here for this amazing race.

Details of our RORC Caribbean 600 Race package

The RORC Caribbean 600 Race campaign runs over eight days. You will get great race training in the three day build up to the Caribbean 600 race. The race itself should take between three to five days depending on the weather.

Racing on turquoise seas in brilliant sunshine against a keen fleet and stiff competition, with interesting navigation and tactics thrown in, this race really is perfect!
